Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the nick name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist from American origin. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN its award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. Bolduan also worked as a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and other events in her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the limit on debt for the US and discussions by the super-committee. As general assignment reporters she covered news like the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and also the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare.
