Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born at 19th December, 1986. The Canadian native was employed by Hollywood's film industry on a range of projects. She was best known as Alexis Rose on the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek, that began in the year 2015. The show ended in the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. Parents of her were teachers. Her parents used to work as educators. Elmwood School is in Ottawa. The stage was where she performed in productions. Then she enrolled in Concordia University, where her degree was theatre performance. After that, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which acting classes were taught. After moving from Toronto to Los Angeles, she began performing professionally when she was 22. Annie Murphy launched her acting career when she appeared in the 2007 crime-thriller Telefilm Lethal Obsession. She went on to perform minor roles and even more in several movies. Certain of the films have been very well-received for their time, like Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in 2010 and A Windigo Tale released the same year. As well, she has had appearances on Canadian TV shows like Good God that was aired during 2012. Rookie Blue from the season prior to that. She seems to have the capacity to be involved in various project as an actor. Annie was a struggle to make a name for herself in the beginning of her acting career.
